architectural value, and surrounded by lush green mountains and meadows, lies O\u00f1ati \u2013 the largest municipality in Gipuzkoa, widely known for the Sanctuary of class=\"m_-1931654990992149673p1\">The Old Town, designated as a Monumental Ensemble, is home to the Basque Country\u2019s oldest university, <a href=\"https:\/\/xn--oatiturismo-1db.eus\/es\/listings\/sancti-spiritus-unibertsitatea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Sancti Spiritus University<\/a>, founded in 1543 \u2013 a true Renaissance gem. Just nine kilometers from the town, beneath the Aizkorri-Aratz natural park, you will find the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arantzazu.org\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Sanctuary of Arantzazu<\/a>. The basilica, built in the 1950s, is a prime example of avant-garde art.  <u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1931654990992149673p1\">Set in its natural surroundings, the Aizkorri-Aratz mountain range holds some of the highest peaks, including Aitxuri (1,551m) and Aizkorri (1,523m). Together with other mountains, they form a striking massif \u2013 a landmark for Basque mountaineers. Once a noble house ( <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(oinetxe)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">it later became involved with the Catholic Church, and eventually developed into a self-sufficient farm by producing all raw materials needed for an autarkic lifestyle. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The vineyard,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> according to various documents, was cultivated for family use since at least 1850. Dairy cattle rearing also played a significant role in its agricultural past, with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">remarkable production during the 1980s and 90s, <\/span><span
